At Warman Physio we have been working hard behind the scenes to get a secondary location going for all the clients that are unable to get out to Warman. We are pleased to announce that as of June 3, 2019 we will be located in Saskatoon!

To top it off, we are not only opening a second location, but we also have two NEW staff members to introduce to you!

First, our physiotherapist Scott Golding!

Scott is joining us from his current practice in Llyodminster where he sees a mix of pelvic health clients including women and men, and orthopedic (sprains, strains, concussion, etc) clientele. Scott is passionate about pelvic health, and is specifically interested in providing assessment and treatment for:

  • Pelvic pain
  • Prolapse
  • Incontinence
  • Concussion
  • Back pain
  • Sports Rehabilitation
  • General orthopedics

Scott’s future goals include becoming a strong support and resource for male health. He wants to help decrease and remove the stigma associated with male pelvic health and provide exceptional resources for males who need or are seeking help.

We are also pleased to announce our RMT Signe Bone to the team in Saskatoon!

Signe has been working as a massage therapist for a number of years, and has always had a desire and drive to understand the human body from a very young age. She has been working in Saskatoon as an RMT as well as continuing her education in Prenatal Massage through Axiom Collage, and has begun her Visceral Manipulation through Barral Institute and Craniosacral Therapy through Upledger Institute. The areas of practice that Signe is most drawn to includes:

  • Prenatal & postpartum massage
  • General Injuries (whiplash, TOS, piriformis syndrome, etc)
  • Abdominal Health thorugh Visceral Manipulation
  • Critical Alignment Therapy
  • Cranial Sacral Therapy: CS1

Her love for learning and solving problems helps her provide the best care and treatment she can through working with her clients to better understand them as a person, not just as a body.

The schedule for physiotherapy assessment and treatment can be found HERE and to get on the list for booking for massage can be found HERE.

Spread the word and make sure you share this fantastic news with your friends! As per our vision – the Saskatoon location will be infant and child friendly, providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personable care to each and every client.

Location of the Saskatoon clinic is: 2543 Dudley St, Saskatoon

We are so thrilled to be offering a second annual FUN RUN (or walk!) and BBQ this year on June 15th! We again will be providing a variety of distance options (2km, 5km, 10km) as well as family and group/corporate options for participating!

Last year we were so fortunate to have 60 (HOLY SMOKES!) runners participate, and sold over 100 burgers the day of the event. We are hoping that this year, we will be able to get out 80 runners, and sell 125 burgers – with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Light the Night!

We choose to raise money annually for Light the Night as Haylie’s dad, Hank, has been battling with CLL – a ‘slow’ moving form of leukemia for over a decade. He has been through countless rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant, and relapse – if you want to read some more about Hank’s journey check out our previous blog.

The thing that makes fundraising for the LLSC Light the Night THE BEST is the advances that we are able to see in the short time (although it feels like a very long time!) Hank has been going through treatments. Because of this fundraising that supports research efforts as well as supporting those that have been diagnosed with blood cancers, the quality of treatment has been vastly different! Hank would not have survived more than a year in 2012 if he had not received a stem cell transplant, and in 2016 when his cancer returned, the drug therapies were so much better, he wouldn’t have needed a stem cell transplant to begin with if it had been available then!

We would be so grateful if you would join us in our efforts, and come and enjoy a day of movement (walk or run!) and/or some food to support our cause!

Happy 4 year birthday to us!

I am so grateful and also humbled to be able to celebrate our fourth year in business today.

I’ve been taking some time to reflect on the past 4 years in business here in Warman serving the community and surrounding areas (from Lloydminster to Davidson!) and I am so grateful that we have been so fortunate in business. I have enjoyed supporting the community, participating in events, being asked to provide space for groups to meet, and most of all, working with clients to help them help themselves solve their injury, aches & pains.

Looking at where we started November 3, 2014, when it was just Lauren (RMT) and myself at the clinic, to the amazing team of therapists we have, I can’t help but think about the impact we are able to make in people’s lives, and being able to reach more people, more quickly.

Developing a team that truly cares about you – the past, present, or future clients – ensuring that we without a doubt are providing outstanding care for women, children, men, and most importantly families has been my vision for the clinic. We work tirelessly on our end to get people in for appointments, and therapists are often adjusting their schedules just to make things work. We aim to treat everyone as family, because if you are going to be working 40(+?) hours a week, isn’t it wonderful to have a workplace that feels like home?

At Warman Physio we are truly honored to have THE BEST clients – and I know I am biased but everyone we see at the clinic is truly amazing, wonderful individuals. At the end of the day, we as therapists are so honored to be a part of your journey to health & wellness, to not just survive, but thrive.

So a huge thank you to the community in which we reside, without the support of the community, we wouldn’t be able to do what we are doing. I am so grateful for all of you.

Let’s take some time to go through some of our memories throughout the years as well as some of our favorite photos!
